THE DREAM PLAY, the first of two interconnected films written, directed and edited by I. Michael Toth, is based in part on Toth’s award-winning and critically acclaimed short film, Cast In Gray (visit www.castingraymovie.com or imdb.com), shot in 2004 and screened at film festivals in 2005. In 2007 and 2008, the filmmakers set out to film additional material that would comprise the two films. Principal photography of THE DREAM PLAY was completed on August 24, 2008. The film was shot on 720p high-definition and is being transferred to 35mm film for theatrical distribution. Original music for the film was composed and performed in the film by Blue Note Recording Artist, Patricia Barber (www.patriciabarber.com). The film is currently being submitted to film festivals with all worldwide rights currently available for sale. |
